Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe
Looks like the couples counseling didn't take because Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe filed for divorce in January. It was only a few months prior that Chad and Hilary decided to take some space to think things through. When an interviewer at the Golden Globes referred to Hilary as "single", she flipped out.
She quickly said that she and Chad were working on their 8 year marriage. Not working hard enough, as the relationship is now coming to an end. Some feel that the breakup may have been a result of Hilary's star shining so much brighter than Chad's. Her career went through the roof, while his has been on the decline for years.
Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro
Carmen Electra and rocker Dave Navarro were married in November 2003 and chronicled it all on the 2004 MTV reality show Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave. Surprisingly, the wacky but seemingly made for each other duo called it quits in July. This was the second marriage for Carmen and the third for Dave as she was briefly married to NBA star Dennis Rodman. Rumor mills smelled trouble with Carmen and Dave for months, but they continued to deny the allegations.
Carmen even refuted early rumors saying, "We're fine! I'm not saying we have the perfect marriage or that we're the perfect couple, but we're pretty damn good." Things sure don't look so good to me as the couple is now headed for divorce court.
