Neil Patrick Harris, known fondly to his fans as Doogie Howser, has proclaimed to the world that he is gay. In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Harris, 33, decided to officially set the record straight once and for all.
"Rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest," he told the magazine.
Just as they did with singer Lance Bass, gossip blogs across the net have been speculating for weeks, and now they finally have their answer. It really comes as no surprise to those of us who recognized the warning signs. I mean, the guy did do an amazing job dancing his fanny off in Cabaret. Isn't that all the proof anyone needs?
