Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Heather Mills have officially announced that they are separating. The couple, who have been married for four years, have reportedly been bickering non-stop and now it could be headed for divorce.
Heather blasted the rumors by saying that they were simply taking some space so that she could recover from a recent surgery. Call me crazy, but wouldn't you want your spouse by your side to support you after a traumatic thing like surgery? Sounds like this marriage may really be in trouble after all.

It looks like Paul McCartney, 63, and Heather Mills, 38, are headed for divorce court. If Heather lands sole custody of little Beatrice, that could mean more money in her pocket each month. Legal experts are speculating that she could walk away with a big chunk of the former Beatle's estimated $1.5 billion empire. Maybe that's what lurks behind all the dirty press that Heather has been getting lately.
Reports of her being a gold-digger as well as graphic photos have surfaced of her in less than compromising positions if you catch my drift. One London paper even alleged that Heather spent the better part of her 20's working as a prostitute. Of course she plans to sue the paper for defamation, but does it even matter at this point? Heather has bigger things to worry about than that.
