While on vacation in Kenya in October 2010, the Prince decided to make his move. He and Kate were on an amazing adventure visiting the Lewa Downs Wildlife Conservancy, Manda Bay and Rutundu. The two lovebirds were by a lake next to the slopes of Mount Kenya in an area that is only accessible by helicopter. Being an RAF pilot, William personally flew them over in a rented chopper.
When the moment was perfect, Wills proposed to Kate with his mother Diana's oval sapphire and diamond engagement ring. His father, Prince Charles, gave the ring to Diana in February 1981 and now it belongs to Kate. The wedding will take place on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
