After just a few months of dating, Dancing With the Stars pros Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are engaged to be married. According to reports from E! Online, Maksim proposed to his ladylove at midnight as they rang in 2009 together.
2. Chuck Liddell and Erin Wilson

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell (aka Iceman) is officially engaged to be married. He popped the big question to his girlfriend of over a year, Erin Wilson, while they were enjoying their time in London in June 2008. No wedding date is set just yet.

Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson and her boyfriend of nearly a year, David Otunga, are engaged to be married. David asked Jennifer to marry him on her 27th birthday with a sparkler from jeweler Neil Lane. David's name might sound familiar because he was once known as "Punk" on the reality show I Love New York 2.

Actress Mena Suvari and producer Simone Sestito are engaged and planning to tie the knot. Mena, 29, was on vacation in Jamaica with Simone in July 2008 when he surprised her with the proposal. The two have been together since meeting at the Toronto Film Festival back in the summer of 2007.

6. Brooke Burke and David Charvet
Brooke Burke, 36, is engaged to former Baywatch star David Charvet. She is also pregnant with their second child making this her fourth. Brooke and David welcomed a daughter, Heaven Rain born in January 2007. Brooke was previously married to Extreme Makeover plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher and they have two daughters, Neriah and Sierra.
7. Amy Adams and Darren Legallo
Award nominated actress Amy Adams, 33, is engaged to marry her boyfriend of six years, actor Darren Legallo. The two met in an acting class and have been together ever since. Amy is best known for her role in Enchanted with Patrick Dempsey.
