- November 2007: Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff admitted that she had plastic surgery in the form of a nose job. Karina said that the surgery was intended to clear her passageway to improve breathing. Since she was already under the knife, the doctor reshaped her nose to repair previous damage.
- November 2007: After the gossip mills continued to speculate, Sabrina Bryan and her dance partner Mark Ballas finally admitted to TV Guide that they were hooking up offstage. After getting voted off from Season 7, Sabrina and Mark were ready to take things to the next level.
- October 2007: Singer Marie Osmond shocked fans when she fainted on an episode of DWTS and fell to the floor. Marie and her dance partner Jonathan Roberts were heading over to receive the scores when she completely collapsed onstage. Medics were summoned as the screen went dark and the show was sent to commercial. It turned out to be simple exhaustion.
