Following in the footsteps of child stars like Corey Haim and the late Dana Plato, Jodie Sweetin revealed in a candid interview in February 2006 that she too fell victim to the lure of Hollywood drug abuse.
Boredom Takes Over
Jodie, 24, known for playing middle child Stephanie on Full House from 1987-1995 spoke out about her battle with crystal meth. Apparently, she discovered the drug in 2004 because she was bored and soon after became addicted. Sounds like someone needed to get a new hobby.
Fresh Start
After a stint in rehab, Sweetin is now clean, sober, and ready to get back to work. Maybe her former co-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley can help her find a new job. They seem to be doing pretty well for themselves.
