Paula Abdul Appears Drunk on American Idol

I'm sorry, but this question just had to be asked. Was Paula Abdul drunk on TV last night? The final five contestants were given the chance to sing not one, but two songs last night. After round one, Ryan went down the judges line to hear their opinions on the first set of songs.

Randy gave his usual neutral advice, with a few "in the zones" for good measure. Here's where it gets interesting. Paula chimed in that she loved Jason's first song, but that the second one left her feeling a little empty.

This critique would be valid, if not for the fact that Jason (and the rest of the crew) had each only belted out one song up to that point. Being the devoted fan that I am, I went ahead and took some notes for your review.

Randy: Um, Paula, it's just on the first song.

Paula: Oh my god, I thought you - I thought you sang twice!

Ryan: Just once Paula. You're seeing the future.

Paula: This is hard!
