Could Nicole Richie actually end up serving time in jail? Aspiring to be just like her former friend Paris Hilton, Nicole went ahead and landed herself with a DUI arrest in December of 2006.
On the night of the arrest, she also allegedly admitted to the officers on site that she had smoked pot and swallowed a couple of Vicodins. Now the spoiled daughter of Lionel Richie is scared to death of spending time in the slammer. She told David Letterman that she's keeping her skeletal fingers crossed.
"Of course, I'm scared also, but you know, I'm willing to face whatever consequences come my way, and I take responsibility for what I've done," she told Dave. Nicole, 25, apparently doesn't learn from her mistakes since this was her second DUI arrest since 2003. If convicted at the end of this month, Nicole could be facing 90 days to one year in jail. If she hires Paris' legal team, that should translate into about 45 minutes.
