Word on the street is that Isaiah Washington has officially been fired from his post on Grey's Anatomy. Isaiah's rep Howard Bragman confirmed to TMZ that the show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, called the actor today and delivered the news herself.
Reportedly, the decision not to invite him back next season stems from a "pattern of problematic behavior." It's safe to assume that it had something to do with what he said to T.R. Knight.
Isaiah immediately released a statement saying, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more." Not surprisingly, he's probably less than pleased to be losing such a fat and easy paycheck.
