Spike TV Guy's Choice Awards Show 2008

On my last trip to LA, I was lucky enough to score an invite to the Spike TV 2008 Guy's Choice Awards. The show was taped at Sony Studios and it definitely delivered in the fun department.

We started out the evening on their trademark "Golden Carpet" - not to be confused with that played out red one, of course. I had the chance to interview celebrities from the cast of The Factory and YouTube siren Obama Girl to the legendary Hugh Hefner himself.

The Guy's Choice awards show was a blast with funny guys John Cho and Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar) hosting the star studded night. There were gorgeous women plastered on the walls, quite literally, and the stars were in rare form.

Cameron Diaz proudly accepted her "Decade of Hotness" award while Matt Damon beat out Harrison Ford to take home the "Ultimate Guy of the Year" award.

Hugh was honored with the "Guycon" Lifetime Achievement award and how appropriate that the after party would be held at his house - the one and only Playboy Mansion. I was lucky enough to secure an invite and it was nothing short of spectacular. There were girls in the grotto, white tents, and Playboy bunnies farther than the eye can see. Let's just say Hugh definitely knows how to throw a party.

The Spike TV Guy's Choice Awards premieres Sunday June 22 at 10 PM ET. Check it out, if for no other reason than to watch Harrison Ford's awesome acceptance speech after receiving the "Brass Balls" award.
