Oscar Winner Sydney Pollack is Dead
Beloved actor/director and Oscar winner Sydney Pollack is dead at the age of 73 from cancer, according to ABC News. After being diagnosed nearly a year ago, Sydney died at his home in Los Angeles this evening surrounded by his loving family.His most recent work includes acting in and producing Michael Clayton with George Clooney in 2007 as well as a role in Made of Honor with Patrick Dempsey. Sydney is survived by his wife Claire, two daughters; Rebecca and Rachel, and six grandchildren.
