Another celebrity sports scandal to report, only this one is very tragic. Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor was pronounced dead on November 27, 2007 as a result of a very serious gunshot wound, according to AP Reports.
When an apparent burglary went awry inside of his Florida home on Monday, Sean Taylor, 24, was shot in the lower portion of his body. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died the very next day.
This is just such a tragic, horrible, unnecessary death - another example of the incessant violence in this city and this country," Sean's attorney Richard Sharpstein told The Miami Herald. Police are still searching for the alleged shooter while Sean's friends and family mourn the violent and tragic loss of a young man with a bright future.
