Rumor has it that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are engaged to be married. I should also tell you that these whispers came about courtesy of the UK Sun, which isn't exactly the most credible source in town. Either way, Kate and Owen potentially tying the knot makes for some pretty juicy gossip in my book.

If you're wondering whether or not this union has any chance of lasting, I'm pretty sure you already know the answer to that. Early last year, Kate and Owen were two peas in a pod until she wanted more and he wanted out.

Fast forward to August and Owen is in the hospital recovering from a failed suicide attempt. Did it have anything to do with the sudden demise of his relationship with Kate? Perhaps. Are these two ready for marriage? Doubtful.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are due in early June and she's been pretty vocal about her first time fears. She even told US Weekly that she was more afraid of breastfeeding than giving birth. All I can say is that she and her future hubby are definitely in for a surprise.

The verdict is in and Nick Bollea has been sentenced to eight months in jail for causing a car crash in August that critically injured his friend John Graziano. Hulk Hogan and Linda Bollea supported their son as he pleaded no contest to felony reckless driving and awaited his punishment.

In addition to the jail time, he must serve five years of probation and will lose his drivers license for three years, according to AP Reports. Because Nick, 17, had alcohol in his system on that fateful day, he will also need to attend DUI classes and is banned from drinking during his probation.

Carmen Electra, who is newly engaged to rocker Rob Patterson, believes that she knows a thing or two about men - specifically how to attract them. In the June issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, she offers up a couple of tips to get the ball rolling.

Carmen, 36, tells readers to always keep perfume, lip gloss, and heels on hand in case of emergency. She then goes on to say that women shouldn't be afraid to take chances with a man through eye contact and subtle flirting. Is that all it takes? And to think, all this time, I thought it was just about the implants.

With Mariah Carey stealing the spotlight this week, Madonna ran out of stunts and gimmicks to keep her name in the tabloids. Madonna's fans have grown tired of the constant rumors of marital trouble, baby adoption drama, and even Kabbalah scandals. As a result, she's taken to recycling one of her old standards.

In a sad attempt to drum up media for the release of her new album, Hard Candy, Madonna kissed a woman on stage during a private showcase at the Olympia Theater in Paris, France. Didn't she and Britney Spears lock lips at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards? Maybe Madge should talk to her PR people about getting some new material.

Actress/model Liv Tyler and her husband of five years, musician Royston Langdon, are on their way to getting divorced. Liv, 30, and Royston, 36, have a three year old son and the once happy little family hasn't been seen together much lately.

Liv was allegedly overheard on the phone talking to a lawyer with the word divorce casually being thrown around, according to US Weekly's May 12 print edition. "In the conversation, she complained about her husband being a 'leech' on her assets, and said she got married too young," a source told the magazine.

As if that wouldn't be enough, there's more fuel to add to the fire. Conveniently, Liv was also spotted earlier this month in NYC shopping for townhouses while her hubby was nowhere to be found.

In a recent interview with Parade, Simon Cowell, 48, offered up his two cents on the whole notion of celebrities in the spotlight. If I'm not mistaken, it almost sounds like the American Idol judge might be siding with the paparazzi.

"We live right now in what I consider to be a fame epidemic. I have zero problems being well known. Couldn't care less if someone wants to take my picture. Anyone who complains about invasion of privacy shouldn't work in the entertainment business. Trust me. When the picture taking stops, they’re going to be more unhappy,” he told Parade.com.

As much as I generally tend to disagree with the ever cranky and negative Simon, he makes a very good point. Stars like Paris Hilton are always whining about the gossip permeating through the media, yet where would their careers be without us?

Rumor has it that party girl Lindsay Lohan allegedly stole an $11,000 blond fur coat back in January. Masha Markova, 22, is claiming that Lindsay walked off with her coat on January 26 while attending a private party for Paris Hilton's ex, Stavros Niarchos, at 1 Oak in NYC.

How did Masha discover that the priceless mink had possibly been swiped by Lindsay? She saw a photo of the actress in a tabloid entering the bar in a black coat and leaving in the blond mink one. After several back and forth phone calls, the coat was mysteriously returned to the rightful owner, according to the NY Post.

That photo on the left was taken in the early morning hours of January 26. According to the NY Post, the coat came back to Masha "reeking of cigarettes and booze with a slight tear in the lining." Now she wants Lindsay to pay $10,000 for the unauthorized monthly 'rental' of the mink coat. Good luck to her if she ever expects to see that money.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are engaged to be married, according to recent reports from People. Ryan, 31, called off his engagement to wild singer Alanis Morissette in February of 2007. Conveniently, he and Scarlett, 23, began dating just a month later.

I guess Ryan didn't really need much time to recover from ending things with Alanis. He was ready to get back on the proverbial relationship horse and even more eager to take the next step with Scarlett. Let's just hope he was smart enough not to recycle Alanis' old ring for potential wife #2.

Check out the music video responsible for launching the relationship quickie marriage between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Mariah and Nick met when he was flown out to the Bahamas to star in the video for her track "Bye Bye" and they must have really hit it off.

Within days, these two were allegedly hooking up and within weeks, they were rumored to be husband and wife. Some even speculated that Nick may have regifted the same ring he bought to propose to Selita Ebanks last year.

It's been 10 long years since Mariah and Tommy Mottola ended their marriage and she's barely even dated anyone since then. Why would she run off and get hitched to the very first guy to show any real interest in her? A guy who also happens to be 15 years younger than her? I think I just answered my own question.
