For the second time this year, singer/actress Ashlee Simpson has come to her big sister Jessica's defense. In January 2009, when critics slammed Jessica Simpson, 29, for gaining a few pounds, Ashlee, 25, quickly stepped in. She took to her personal blog letting the media know that she was not in agreement with them.

Back in January, she proudly posted: "All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms. How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?"

This time, Ashlee brought up the topic during an interview for Women's Health magazine's December issue. She said, "My sister has an incredible body. I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she's one sexy lady. It's disgusting that people would say those things."

It's good to see that even in Hollywood, blood is still thicker than water.

The Hills reality 'star' Stephanie Pratt is headed for rehab. Last month, Stephanie, 23, was arrested in LA for suspicion of driving under the influence. According to TMZ, her breathalyzer tests registered .08 and .09 while the legal limit is .08. She decided to plead not guilty to a charge of misdemeanor DUI and will probably get off scott free.

If she ends up being convicted, Stephanie faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. This is Hollywood after all, so we're talking more like six hours in jail to go along with that measly $1,000 fine.

After nearly a year of dating, Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks are no longer a couple, according to People. Could it have something to do with the nine year age difference? Perhaps. I definitely recall how Julianne, 21, and Chuck, 30, were waxing poetic just days into their relationship. But then again, doesn't every new celebrity romance seem just perfect when the parties involved are wearing proverbial rose colored glasses?

It looks like Celine Dion's doctor may have spoken too soon. In August, Celine, 41, and her husband Rene Angelil, 67, announced (through their doctor) that they were happily expecting their second child together. After numerous IVF attempts, they were excited at the idea that they could be adding another baby to their family.

People is now reporting that "Dion's doctor announced that she was pregnant via in vitro fertilization very early in the process, and it is now revealed that the embryos transferred in August and October were unsuccessful."

Along with the support and help of their medical team, Celine and Rene are not giving up and are determined to keep trying. The couple must be eager to have a sibling for their son, Rene Charles, born in 2001. (He was also born with the help of IVF)
