Allegra Versace in Treatment for Anorexia

Donatella Versace's daughter, Allegra, has been admitted to an LA hospital for treatment of anorexia. The famous designer said in a statement that Allegra, 20, had been battling the "very serious disease for many years." Rumor mills have alluded to a possible problem for nearly a decade. That would mean that Allegra began her battle with food at only 10 years old. I want to know why it took Donatella this many years to actually do something about it. Was she so caught up in the overly skinny fashion world that she didn't notice her own child slowly withering away?
