Howard Stern is Keeping Sanjaya Alive

Monday April 2, 2007
Howard Stern has jumped on the Sanjaya Malakar bandwagon and is backing a campaign to help the singer stay alive on American Idol for as long as humanly possible. Howard even devotes an average of 40 minutes to discuss Sanjaya during each of his five-hour daily broadcasts on Sirius Radio. "It makes me feel really good that we could ruin something. That appeals to me for some dark, dark reason. We're corrupting the entire thing," Howard said on the air last week.

Howard has been promoting votefortheworst.com which is the force behind keeping Sanjaya on the show. The site had been averaging 1 million hits each time the show aired, but Howard has definitely taken care of that. Ever since he mentioned it on air, the numbers have jumped to 4 million hits. Not surprisingly, the ever cranky judge Simon Cowell is not pleased and has threatened to quit the show if Sanjaya actually wins. For those of you out there who have ever doubted the power of Howard Stern, here's your chance to witness it first hand.

What a shame that you choose to make a mockery of something that encourages our young people to strive to achieve their best in cultivating a talent God gave them. I’m afraid to see what you’ll try to do to the Olympics.

(2) Chareese Ealy says:

People like you obviuosly don’t have any talent, and your audience is also talent free. If you don’t like the show, then shut up and butt out leave it for the people who do, and allow these young people, who actually have a goal in life unlike your audience,to achieve what they deserve.

SANJAYA is almost as ugly as Howard. He just doesn’t have that ugly crooked hook nose.I am not a listener and never will be.
