24 star Kiefer Sutherland was arrested for misdemeanor DUI in West Hollywood early this morning, according to TMZ. Kiefer, 40, allegedly blew more than twice the legal limit of .08 on his breathalyzer and was taken into the station, according to reports. After being booked, Kiefer was released on $25,000 bail and is scheduled in court on October 16. Just like our pal Nicole Richie, this would be his second DUI in five years and carries a mandatory sentence of five days behind bars. Translation? Kiefer will serve a couple of hours in jail before he's back on the set of his hit show.

Why is it celebrities break the law, yet they just get a slap on the wrist? I guess it’s true what they say: Money can buy you anything, including freedom from breaking the law! Keifer Sutherland was a problem child, teenager, young adult, and now it seems he has straightened his act out, then this DUI! He’s so dysfunctional!!!
