Patrick Swayze Being Treated For Pancreatic Cancer

One of my personal favorites, actor Patrick Swayze, 55, is currently being treated for pancreatic cancer, according to AP reports. His rep, Annett Wolf, did say that Patrick's doctor feels optimistic about his chances for battling the illness. "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic," his physician Dr. George Fisher said in a statement.
Patrick and his wife Lisa Niemi have been happily married for 32 years - practically an eternity in Hollywood. Our best wishes go out to Patrick and his family for an absolutely speedy recovery.

iwill pray for this wonderful man and his family.i have been battling 2 cancers in 6 years and i am still there….same age as you wonderful dear man!dying is not difficult it’s living, the fight we put up and the stress with get from seeing our loves ones suffering with us.stay in there……….

Yes, bad things do happen to good people…our prayers are with Patrick and his family while they go through this difficult trial…have had many happy hours enjoying his fine work…we are with you Patrick.

I am so sorry to hear of Patrick’s illness but very glad to hear the prognosis is very optimistic. Patrick is one of my favorite actors and watch his movies over and over again. Especially Dirty Dancing (what moves) and Ghost.

Stay positive, dearheart. It makes all the difference in the world. I send all the positive energy I can muster, combined with goodness and LIGHT! My heart fluttered for a moment and possibly skipped a beat when I heard of this illness. Don’t let it beat you. Don’t believe it, meditate on that, and BELIEVE. All will be well. Find your strength in your family and true friends. You must know there are many fans out here “praying” for you and “thinking of you.” Keep your dear wife at your side; keep the positivity close and in the front of your mind. The rest will handle itself. You seem to be a grounded, intelligent, good man with a big heart and an old soul. I’m sure you’ve touched many lives with your movies. But I’m speaking of you, Buddy. Chin up, young person. Stay in the Light and many of us will meditate on your behalf ~ you’ll make it! You will make it! :0) You have much to do still. Too much. May angels surround you and provide you strength and courage you may need to get past this. Look at the sky and smile, it’s not your time yet.
