Ellen DeGeneres to Appear in New Cover Girl Ads

Portia de Rossi's new wife, Ellen DeGeneres, revealed on her talk show this week that she will be appearing in a new series of Cover Girl ads. Personally, I think it's great that they chose Ellen as the new face of Cover Girl. She certainly has enough of a fan base that the company can expect to see a boost in their sales figures.

Ellen, 50, announced, "I am the new face of CoverGirl. We were going to let you know [in January when the campaign launches], but somehow people found out about it. I am very, very excited about it. It’s a very cool thing, I’m honored and the photo shoot was easy, breezy, beautiful--CoverGirl."
