Macaulay Culkin's Sister Dakota is Killed at Age 29

Sadly, Macaulay Culkin's older sister, Dakota, was was hit by a car and killed, according to reports from TMZ.com. The accident took place in Los Angeles late Tuesday night as Dakota stepped out on the street. She was struck by an oncoming car and was quickly rushed to UCLA hospital where she died from the injuries the next day.

The actor's rep said, "We can officially confirm that the victim is Dakota Culkin. This is a terrible tragic accident. We have no further comment at this time." It was determined that the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but an LAPD investigation is still under way. She leaves behind siblings Shane, 32, Macaulay, 28, Kieran, 26, Quinn, 24, Christian, 21, and Rory, 19.
