Did adorable couple Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend really split? After nine long years together, could the Oscar winner and her actor boyfriend be over for good? Rumors are swirling following an article in the UK Daily Mail alleging that Charlize, 34, and Stuart, 37, called it quits after a vacation that they took in December.
A source close to Charlize allegedly told the tabloid, "Stuart is gutted but Charlize said that she realised during the Mexican holiday that the relationship was over. They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it."
To add even more speculation to the mix, the actress was spotted without the ring that Stuart gave her as a sign of his commitment. While they're not married, the two certainly maintained what appeared to be a solid relationship - at least by Hollywood's standards. Here's hoping that the rumors actually don't pan out this time.
