Bon Jovi Tickets to Free Concert in Central Park
This is very exciting news indeed. Word just hit that Bon Jovi will be performing a free concert in Central Park on July 12, 2008. Unlike that free Garth Brooks show back in 1997, you'll actually need tickets to catch this performance.According to Bon Jovi's Web site, tickets will be available starting Wednesday July 2 at various ballparks and MLB.com will be conducting a random drawing at their site. The Bon Jovi PR team is calling this concert a prelude to MLB's July 15 All-Star Game taking place at Yankee Stadium.
The 60,000 tickets are free, but good luck getting your hands on a pair. I can only imagine what the thieves at those scalping sites will be charging those desperate fans.
